— Sense/Net today announced two appointments to its executive team. Alan Whitfield becomes chief financial officer, and Miriam Kessling becomes general counsel and corporate secretary. Both take up their roles on August 1.

Mr. Whitfield was previously chief financial officer of a regional cinema chain in the Southwest, and before that spent nine years in media finance in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for finance, planning, the employee share plan and the company’s relationship with its investors.

Ms. Kessling joins from a Los Angeles law firm, where she was a partner in its entertainment and privacy litigation practice. She will lead the company’s legal and business affairs teams and will be responsible for the Sense/Net Consent Standard and the agreements every performer signs.
